Hi, i currently have bios version 1103 for the board. I have tried with both bios chips and all bios updates past 1103
and they update correctly but when the pc restarts i get the bios load screen then it says:
"Bios is updating".
"Do not shut down or reset the system to prevent system boot up failure"
tried ASUS EZFLASH2 and bios flashback with a USB and still the same message appears.
It just kind of sits there and does nothing. Left it for 2 hours and its still there. Shut the pc down and re-flashed to bios version 1103and it works fine. Further more my G.Skill memory voltage will not adjust at all. It for some reason is stuck between 1.184 and 1.191vin the 1103 bios. I set to 1.150 still reads 1.184. Set to 1.35v as its supposed to and it still reads 1.184-1.191v. cleared cmos tried1 stick of memory nothing. because of this my memory wont go above 2133mhz or it wont post and i have to safe boot.
I beleive my friend had a similar issue and he updated the bios and it fixed the problem, however mine wont update properly. I haventtried a version below 1103.
I had the memory running on 3000mhz fine now it wont adjust the voltage and will only do 2133mhz.
Anyone have any advice thanks :).
I have tried 2 different USB drives, one is a generic 12GB, one teamgroup 32GB. Flashed a few months ago fine, will flash the 1103 bios fine just not any further than that or i get that message..
If i EZFLASH2 it with the new bios it gets to about halfway going slow then speeds up (on the progress bar).
I have ordered a new USB flash drive that will be here tomorrow (sandisk G46), to see if that cures it.
