NOTE: I read this guide,

On page 5-2 of the RVE manual there is this note:
Due to chipset limitation, when SATA ports are set to RAID mode, all SATA ports run at RAID mode together.
What does that mean?
I have my system up and running with the OS's that I want on the drives and partitions that I want. I have several SATA drives that I'd like to put into a RAID 5 array for secondary storage. I'm assuming that I can change from AHCI to RAID and have my primary SSD, data drive, and optical all operate in a normal fashion. I can then boot into the Intel storage manager and setup a new RAID volume with my other SSDs, correct?
