Hi,
After last system reboot my PC never came came back. I got error code 79 every time I do cold boot. I tried to bot using 1 Memory stick , removed all USB connections dried the motherboard for a night with battery off and nothing seems to help. Cleared c-mos didn't do anything, upgraded and downgrated bios with flashback and the motherboard is stuck at code 79 each time it starts.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi zawadzkk

Sorry you are having problems...

Have you recently flashed the BIOS?...both BIOS?

When you flash the BIOS, are you sure the flash is going right? The clear CMOS button flashing for well over a minute?

Any of the leds lighting up on the board at the same time as it stalls on 79....GPU...

If you leave it...does the board eventually boot?

You have another PSU you can try....another GPU?

I tried another PCU with same results. I flashed bios with r5e10.cap multiple times on both bios chips and have no luck. I see vga led when 79 is showing. MY gpu is good as i test it in another system, also I used another GPU and have same error

It's possible you have corrupted both BIOS chips...you might find if you get a couple of spares with the latest BIOS flashed and install them you are OK http://www.bios-chip24.com/epages/63730052.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/63730052/Products/32739

Maybe simpler than RMAing the board
