Question about m2 ssds and compatibility with RVE

Hello. My brother plans to get a lenovo notebook and we were thinking about using the m2 drive that comes with it, in our server instead.
Will this work? Is any m2 ssd drive compatible or do I have to get any particular model?

Edit: here is the model compared to samsung evo 850 (which is the one I currently have) and it shows that this m2 is actually slower, so maybe its not worthy?
The m2 model # is SSDSCKKF256H6L:*http://www.harddrivebenchmark.net/hdd.php?hdd=INTEL+SSDSCKKF256H6L *

Thanks.

The RVE supports PCIE M.2 drives only, not SATA M.2 drives

hi O,
The R5E spec only Supports PCIE SSDs only 🙂
If You want to use M.2 SATA interface, You must adopt M.2 NGFF SSD to 2.5 SATA Adapter
