Wow, glad I saw this. The new GPU requires a new SLI bridge. Had no idea. ??

Yea I just read that, SLI HB (with HB being High Bandwidth). 2x Bridges for extra bandwidth (like 4 way sli)

Lol I am still using the original bridge from EVGA nF780i for Titan X SLI without issues. 😄

My current ROG SLI bridge is a 3 way which connects both SLI connectors on both cards, but I guess it's not HB specification.

Maybe they changed the SLI fingers on new cards to prevent the use of yesteryear bridges like mine. To this point it's just been a wiring after all?

Something has changed, I'm sure other manufacturers will offer new bridges, only concern is will new bridges be available on release, what will the price of the new bridges be.
Some of the custom cards don't allow the use of hard bridges due to their heatsink design so will their be flexible bridges that meet this new specification or will all custom cards be designed to allow the use of hard bdridges
