Now my G700 Logitech laser mouse is dying 😞 need a new one.

Any advice? Something precise, resistant and not very expensive?

I love my Logitech G502 Proteus gaming mouse. Perfect size and shape for my hand, comfortable buttons, extreme DPI sensitivity, very accurate and responsive once it's properly tuned, it glides very smoothly on my large (11"x17") Func F10.s mousepad, I hardly ever need to lift off.

My old/spare gaming mouse is a Gigabyte Ghost GM-M8000X, very fast and accurate and responsive, though it seems huge and clunky (and a bit awkward) compared to my G502. Not a lot of fancy LEDs and stuff, but it sure can take a lot of violent banging and beating and dropping - it's survived quite a few unhappy LAN-travelling incidents (and gotten pretty scuffed up) but still works perfectly.

I also really like my friend's Cyborg R.A.T. 9 ... though I could only play around with it a little and never had enough time to fully reconfigure/personalize it. This is what I'd probably buy if I didn't already have an excellent mouse.

Yup 😉

There are a few minor quirks:
The process for updating the mouse firmware was a little strange but it added more LED configuration options and an optional "breathing" effect, too bad it's only blue, full RGB would be quite awesome.
I personally find the DPI Up and DPI Down buttons a little sharp and somewhat awkward to reach, so I don't ever use them.
The scrollwheel button (traditionally called "mouse button 3") doesn't work properly in some older games.
And the LGS software is often unresponsive or sluggish when waking from sleep, the system won't recognize input from LGS keyboard and mouse devices until it's finished (re)loading the drivers. But it's always improving, and it's a lot better now than it used to be.

But this is otherwise an absolutely perfect mouse, and it's a whole lot better overall than any other mouse I've ever tried.

I like more ROG Gladius than now this new... Spatha...
ROG Gladius have real Japan Omron switches in pack.
Most manufacturer today offer rebranded Omron and advertised as famous Omron switches...
That's not even same plastic and metal alloy not even same identical design and quality control.
My next is Gladius, it's not expensive and it's nice, and reviews say it's good.
That's very bad because in my town in electric store are available Japan version of Omron and they cost max 3 euro.

I have always used Logitech until recently, I have been using a Gladius and a Strix without any issues but I don't play MMO games

So after using the G402 for a couple of days I loved its precision, but hated it for being so light and not having the left/right scroll in the middle button

So I went to the shop again, swapped the G402 hyperion fury for a G502 proteus Core, handed the extra cash and now im really pleased, feels really good in the hand and has precision like nothing Ive ever used...

Yup, I tested how the change of the ppp dpi affects movement and now I press the + or - buttons only once according to what I need - millimetric precision or more range , and it works 🙂
