Hey guys thanks for all the fast replies. I have spent 10+ hours trying to get this thing working. My last remaining issues are -
1) The case fans are not running. They are all connected to the hub on the back side of the case of the phanteks ethoo. The cpu-fan pin connector does not work, I had to connect my nzxt x61 liquid cooler to the independent fan controller power supply.. it directly to the fan controller
2) The start button on the outside of the case is not functioning.
3) There is a second power supply to the motherboard. I have the 8 pin power supply hooked up, do I also need the 4 pin one connected as well?
4) Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for the intel network controller, I still cannot connect to the internet. I am currently using the wifi - which sucks of course. I have a cat 5 cable running directly to my router. It connect intermittently and then just disconnects randomly. It takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes to connect and then goes out for 5-10 minutes - randomly. I have tried restarting the router and clearing the ipconfig settings in the cmd settings. It says media disconnected. The ethernet cable is fine - it has been running for years on my old computer, and still works perfectly when I switch it over. I am beginning to think I have a bad mobo?

Any help on any of these topics would be appreciated.

You definitely need to connect 4pin ATX as well as fully populate 8pin....

Hello

Using a single fan connect it directly to each fan header to verify proper operation. Using a small screwdriver short the 2 pins on the motherboard that the case power switch connects to. Does the system power up?
