Micro Stuttering from running a balanced power plan! (TEMP FIX HERE)

There seem to be a problem with x99 and using a balanced power plan it produces Micro Stutters in some games i can't say how many games get this problem but Bioshock Infinite is one of them, After comparing both balanced and High Performance you can clearly see the problem, And seeing my 3770K runs a balanced power plan fine with no stuttering i can only put it down to the chipset?

Games Affected/Tested so far

Bioshock Infinite
Borderlands 2
Borderlands The Pre-Sequel

EDIT 03/02/15 TEMP FIX

This problem seems to be related to the unreal engine and X99 chipset there is no hard fix for this problem but you can download this handy tray program called Full Throttle Override
and add all unreal engine games to its games list this will set a High Performance power plan when starting the game.

Ohh that's a big one if it turns out to be true. Though, nowadays practicly all games stutter to a point.. I'm going to start by pointing fingers @ubisoft. Far cry 3/Far cry 4/Watch dogs/assassin's creed

They all had/have stuttering issues. I just wanted to clear this out before everbody rams in this post and start rambling about x99 creating stutter in every single game.

Thanks

Max

Some games do have stuttering problems yes but seeing Z77, Z87, Z97, X58 and X79 don't have any problem running a balance plan its only points to ether windows has some type of problem with X99 or the R5E, Seeing the problem is gone using High Performance its not game related.

Does the problem occur when your system isn't overclocked?

Yes the problem is there overclock or not ill get some more time tomorrow to test but the problem is there with SLI and without.

could it be downclocking causing the stutter? to rule it out can you set the cpu to 100% min in the balanced plan to rule it out.

I notice most games do not stress the cpu at all as it has plenty of headroom.

I have no stutter at all, running borderlands 2, crisis 2-3, metro ll, BF 3-4 with a balanced power plan, if there should be a problem with x99 it's not on the deluxe board
just sayin'

Edit: forgot to mention that I have win 8.1, core-parking disabled, core powerplan settings min 5%, max 100%

Yer I'll be doing most tests when I'm home like I said only some games have this problem lm not sure if its related to the board or the chipset, I don't get this problem in dead space 3, titan fall or BF4 seems to be games on the unreal engine but can't say for sure until I test more.

Are you able to see any difference between balanced and high pwr when using this app

I will test mine later today so you can compare
