Hey there, I'm running i7 5960X, 32 gigs corsair vengeance ram, four evga nvidia gtx 980's a corsair AXi1500i watt PS, liquid cooling corsair H100i, 2 SSD's Samsung 1TB and 500 GB, the latter is my primary.

Question- I am looking for the list of error codes for this motherboard, and also my motherboard is showing error code 30 or 3O I can't tell, at any rate I've checked the manual and there's nothing there.

sigh, please help.

30 is waking from s3, just remove 0x from the ASL checkpoints section.

it doesn't always transition to AA, be it bug or feature I do not know.

he did say he checked the manual but as usual the manual is cryptic in places and one of those is the ASL checkpoints as the manual doesn't explain the 0x prefix needs to be removed as Asus forgot to fit a 4 digit display to match what the manual says.

Hello

With a 4 digit display 0x still would not be displayed. 0x is a prefix used when writing the value to denote that the value is in hexadecimal format. I think sometimes too much credit is given to the customer as far as having a grasp on the basics when writing these manuals.

Hence these forums Praz, I was tripped up on this myself.

The thing is the regular posters seem to think it is ok to do the old canned response of "read the f***ing manual" and that isn't the best way to treat people.

I can expect this attitude on none official forums but here?

Hello

The OP wrote he was looking for a list of the error codes. I realize he also wrote that he had checked the manual but the the Q-Code list is what, 5 pages or so long? Hard to overlook that many pages. I'm sorry but I don't see anything wrong with Chino's response.

I've flipped through both the physical manual, a printed out version from a different source, and an online pdf, none of the manuals contain codes for the motherboard errors at all.

Hey guys. New guy on the show. Just finished my build, and after a few snags, everything turned on fine. But I noticed this q code on the mobo display. I don't even know how to write it down, so I took a photo and attached. Any ideas? Is it bad? Is it normal? What does it mean?
