Would I be able to get the max speed out of the PCIe version and two titan x's in slots 1 and 4? My x4 connector is behind my bottom Titan. Can i plug into an X8?

Or should i just get the M.2 version with adaptor?

I assume you have the RVE, not the RIVE in your spec list especially with a 5960. 40 lane chip. I had my 750 in the very bottom slot of my RVE and it ran at the max specs with an SLI configuration. I believe it ran at x4 with no problem.

Thanks for the reply, yes i need to update my sig. Running the RVE. Will running it at the bottom slot reduce the x18 bandwidth for both titan x's? im guessing no with 40 lanes:

32x total for SLI config
8x for 750

cutting it dead on?

Look at the spec list here for the 750, runs at x4:

My two titans still ran at x16 on that board with the 750 in the bottom slot especially with no other devices installed in the other PCIe slots.*

I believe the video cards will be x16 each with the 750 at x4. Should be fine.

Yes, it can be a boot drive. Mine was. But some didn't like the longer boot up times with the 750. There's a thread around here about that. I'll post it if I find it. I did move to the Samsung 950 and I have been quite happy with that too.

What size 950 did you opt for?

I wouldn't say it's quicker over SATA, but it's getting better. My 850 Samsung SATA ssd machine seems to boot faster to me. Everything seems to be optimized for SATA but I believe that is changing.

Here's Avengers thread on the Samsung 950:

If you wait a little longer, the 960s will be out with even better specs. I have the 950 512 MB currently and I have the 960 1TB on order.*
