Just letting you know it works like a champ, stuck it in the bottom pcie slot, put the driver on a usb stick as I installed Win 7 so I needed to install the driver during installation, install went kind of slow but without any issue on bios 1401. It also came with a back plate on it un-like the models seen in the reviews so it looks better not seeing the components on the back of the card

No trouble what so ever, didn't need any drivers to install on the SM951, Win 7 or 8.1, didn't have to change any bios settings, left the setting for the M.2 slot on auto, left the CSM setting on UEFI and other so I can still boot to a legacy install on a SATA disk, it was just to easy. boot time to OS is very fast, the Intel pcie 750 works in slot #4 at full x4. I hit f8 during boot if I want to boot to Win 8.1 on the Intel drive since I have the Samsung as first boot device and I can still run 2 way sli at x16-x16 or 3way at x16-x8-x8. CPU is clocked at 4.4 ghz and memory at 3200 at 100 blck. Starting to look at 4k monitors now, I have been using a DELL 30" 2560 x 1600 for years

Hello everyone

Well finally I will get my 750, the egg decide its time it to send to me. Its in the packaging stage process coming from Cali. It will be the 750 as a primary boot drive and the XP941 as a second boot drive for OS X or if no luck then for scratch drive. Let see how lucky do I get.

Hi

Well I'm going to be begin relating my experience so far with the Intel NVMe SSD 750. So far as far as performance wise its a monster, but as some experts here have mention before technology needs to mature still and a lot, why I said this?, cause in my experience, Boot Time, its not as I expected, in my case with the Intel 750 from: Power bottom to log screen it takes 35 sec., with Samsung XP941 it takes 20 to 22 sec.

When I have my Intel 750 boot from the POST time and I mean post time that it takes the computer from power bottom till you here the "Beep", it takes 14 to 15 sec., with the XP941 it takes 11 to 12 sec. both drive or setup been install in UEFI mode CSM disable. This is my case my experience, now since I have seen others with this new technology install and also as a boot drive, they also can replay or tell their experience as well so manufacture can keep tuning bios or firmware drive for better customer experience.

Menthol, have you seen this extended boot time as well or its just me that I might have my 750 configure wrong? Thanks for any replay on this question.
