My steps are to use default 8 core overclock, then set xmp, then disable all the stuff i don't want, and then it's good to go at 4.2
oh, i also change the 43 that it gives by default in core 1 to 42. mine crashes at 43...

will use intel's utility to give you what you asked for.

Okay, here's some spam.

Good luck using a profile that works on another CPU. They're all different. The most likely case is that you will have insufficient core voltage and crash often. It's also likely that you will have a working profile, but with excess voltage that overheats the CPU.

Much of overclocking has to do with memory - clock and timing. You make no mention of DRAMs or their XMP ratings.

The best solution is to take a profile as above as a starting point only. Adjust each setting one at a time and test for stability. The point of 'one at a time' is that you know what to undo if the adjustment fails. Plan on spending a day or two dialing in your specific CPU rather than demand to be spoon fed something that has little chance of being right for your case.
