Having Problems Booting into OS. Stucking at q Code AE

I really hope there's someone who could get me a little help here.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the right forum section. If it isn't im sorry.

Well I just build my new system last monday.
Specs:
Mobo: RAMPAGE V EXTREME
CPU: Intel Core i7 5930k
CPU Cooler: beQuiet! Dark Rock 3
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x4GB DDR4-2666 CMD16GX4M4A2666C15
GPU: ROG GTX 980TI Poseidon
PSU: beQuiet!Dark Power Pro 11 1200W
SSD for OS: Samsung 850 EVO Basic 120 GB
SSD for Apps: Samsung 850 EVO Basic 500 GB 2x and RAID 0
HDD for Storage: WD Black 2TB
Optical Drive: LG BN 16NS
Case: Cooler Master HAF X

Well and since then i'm encountering following problem:

No matter if i overclock my System or using optimized defaults or the defaults when i clear the CMOS, when i start or restart the computer it is like a 50% chance that it will boot. The other 50% it will just stuck at a black screen with the white stripe on the top left corner blinking (Like it doesnt find the OS. Also CTRL ALT DELETE is not working in this state). Or it gets into Starting Windows screen but it freezes after 1 or 2 seconds.
The q Code on both scenarios is AE (legacy boot event).
Chances are higher to pass when i start it when its off. When i restart its like 90% that it will freeze on startup.

So what in the heaven could be the source of this problem.
It's getting kinda annoying by now. I mean i can live with it but well when i restart cause i for example installed an application i need to try hard to get windows to load again.

BIOS is up to date. (1701)

So i really hope that someone can help me here.

I have the same problem here :(. Qcode AE, cold boot big problems, black screen after asus logo, like no system, no hard drive at all :(. I have to turn on slow mode and LN2 must be enabled on my mobo to start windows, other wise no way to start normally pc :(. Pls help guys.

Disable xHCI in the BIOS. Then test your system. Report back your results.

Hei Chino.

I already have that on disabled. Because else all my USB Ports stop working when windows actually loads up.
On a fresh windows installation everything worked fine with xHCI on "Auto Smart" but after i installed the ASMEDIA USB 3.0 drivers from the motherboard support DVD i had to disable it.

Okay that would be:

• Keyboard - Roccat ISKU FX
  
• Mouse1 - Logitech G100
  
• Mouse2 - A wireless one from Logitech
  
• Headset - Razer Tiamat 7.1
  
• Speaker - An old set from logitech.
  

I can't be more specific right now, cause im sitting at work.
But as soon as I'm home i can tell the exact models if needed.

The AE QCODE is normally caused by a legacy USB device not supported on the X99 platform. In the past, I've seen a lot of Roccat keyboards and mice causing the AE QCODE. So start with that one. Disconnect it from your system and test. If possible use another keyboard for the meantime.

Well thanks i guess.

I guess it really was my Roccat ISKU FX Keyboard. I plugged it out and then restartet like 20 times in a row w/o any problem.
Then i connected it again but i plugged it into the Front USB 2.0 Connectors. Here it also seem to work fine.

I had it connected to my backpanel USB 3.0 Connectors before.

Im not entirely sure that its good now but well. It always crashed like every 2nd reboot before so....

You should always try to connect yer lesser USB devices to the slowest ports. On the RVE that's kinda hard.
