I boot my computer daily, sometimes a couple times/day. Every few months, it's like my graphics card does not exist and my graphics card is a "Windows Mobile" graphics card. My resolution is then something like 640X480, and my PC is running VERY slow.
The ONLY way I've found to fix this, is to rest my CMOS, and luckily on this motherboard, there's that handy CLR CMOS button in the back of the computer. I would hold it down, and it does nothing. But then, I'd unplug everything but the power cable, hold the CLR CMOS button in for 2 seconds, keep holding it in while I unplug the power, holding it in for an additional few seconds.
Why does this happen? Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Is it just because I've never upgraded my BIOS since purchasing the motherboard on November 2014 and that there's a more "stable" BIOS revision?
Really, it IS an easy fix, but it's a pain to have to go through.
