Blank Screen During POST

I have an Asus Rampage V Extreme, with Bios Ver. 0802, and an Asus Strix GTX-980.
Despite the fact it works fine (it boots OK and load Windows OK), the issue is that I can’t see the post screen during startup.
Due to that issue I can’t enter BIOS to change any settings.
Moreover, in the case I upgrade BIOS, I can’t enter BIOS to reconfigure my settings such as RAID configuration.
When I hit DEL to enter setup during startup after the first beep, nothing appears on the screen, until I press CTRL+ALT+DEL
again to reboot. If I do nothing, the system boots, loads the OS and the first screen I can see is Windows Logon.
I thought to upgrade BIOS to newest version, but it has the risk not to enter BIOS…
Also, I tried to update a new logo to see if something changed, but I can’t see anything.
Sorry I couldn’t find anything relevant in the forum. Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

List your complete system specifications including Windows version and how you are connecting your system to the monitor.

start hitting f2 as soon as you turn on the computer doesnt work. You have to keep hitting the button before the post beep. After beep its already loading windows

So, as you asked, my system configuration includes:

ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME
ASUS STRIX GTX 980 4GD5
Intel Core i7 5930K (2011v3, 3.50GHz)
Corsair Hydro Series™ H110 280mm
4 x Kingston HyperX 16GB 3000MHz DDR4 (Kit of 4) XMP Predator Series
Samsung 850 PRO Series 256GB 2,5" SATA3
Asus BW-16D1HT/G5.25" Blu-Ray Recorder
Case Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Full Black
Corsair AX860i Digital ATX Power Supply
Windows 8.1 64-bit Pro

My monitor is HP ZR24w 24” 1920x1200 monitor and is connected with my build with a 5m long display port cable.

There is also one HDMI connection to a Samsung LE52A656 52” TV monitor with a 15m HDMI cable. (There is reason to tell about cables)

After your notification Chino, to tell about the way my PC is connected to my monitor, I thought that maybe it was a cable issue.

As I have already said, I use a Display Port cable. The specific model cable is:
“Startech 5m Long DisplayPort™ 1.2 Cable with Latches M/M – DisplayPort 4k” with product ID DISPL5M. You can find it next.
http://uk.startech.com/Cables/Audio-Video/DisplayPort/5Meter-DisplayPort-Cable-with-Latches-Male-to-...

I changed it with a “BizLink E164571” 1.8m long (for a test), and like a miracle everything is OK.
The display is no longer black and I can see the ROG logo and enter BIOS.

As a result, this Startech cable, which I have chosen (actually it was my only option in this length here in Greece),
was the source of the problem. Avoid it.
