Hey guys, just wanted to point out that a new BIOS version is out.

Notes are as per the usual: "Improves System Stability"

That's what I thought. Same board but one has the add on 3.1 card. Why would the bios be any different? That's what's odd.

afraid my dealing with Asus email support have shown they have no idea what they are on about.

PCIE x8_4 slot share bandwidth with M.2. With 40 lane CPU (5960X and 5930K)
PCIEx8_4 slot can be used with M.2 slot only as x4 or lower speed.
That mean Sound Card, USB 3.1 Port Card,...

Yes, so, i always update lastest version. i don't care what new. So, all work every day. Every time i turn-on Mycomputer, Click and Click Check for update on every Application. all work fine.
