No worries, assuming you mean this.

That should be fine, but keep in mind that systems that don't meet requirement may not receive updates, including critical security patches - and the fix is subject to change. 24H2 is rolling out at the moment, might want to make sure it works ok there, too.

Hi @skint

It can, However you will need a TPM2 module. See the thread below for suggestions.

Hi Silent_Scone,

Installed the TPM module and passed the PC Health Check but now failing with the CPU.

Comparing both ASUS cpu support list and Windows cpu support list and cannot see anything that will pass both lists. I was thinking maybe Xeon but cannot no.

Any ideas?

cheers

If you look in the link I posted this user has been running this Xeon SKU successfully.

Yeah, but that Xeon CPU isn't on the compatibility list, so I figured there was more to it.

Ended up following advice from eidairaman1 at techpowerup Forums to go on youtube and look up tpm bypass for 11.

I did this and it was really easy. There are multiple ways to bypass. I am now running Windows 11.

thanks for your time and help.

yep I used one of those to do it.

it's doing downloads....just did a few and restarted and all good

it's downloading the "2024-08 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5041587)" now and about to see what happens with that.

Hey Silent_Scone,

Would you know what RAM I would need using an Intel Xeon E5-2695-v4 (2.1G,120W,L3:45M,18C,HT) on the X99-DELUXE II?

cheers
