Asus Windows 10 Audio broken

Hi All,

Looks like the new Win10 driver is broken that's on the Asus website for our board. Rear jacks are not detected properly (same as any of the recent generic realtek ones)

Rolling back to the previous 7450 driver works fine though, so will have to do for now.

Anyone else with this issue, please post your experience.

Ive been using 7525,7534,7554, 7555 and 7560.. Same problem with all, need to restart to make rear jacks detected properly.

I've tried with the 7560 driver again after your post, but still no joy. Only the Green jack is detected even after a restart.

What did you do to get it working?

No driver after 7450 works for me.

Same problem for me the installation software just loops installs restarts installs restarts but even if you stop it surround doesn't work please fix this!

Even though the driver is broken, to get the install to work I had to disable the network connection. Uninstall the driver from device manager and then run the installer.

I've emailed Asus and the response I got so far is :
--
The available driver from our website is WHQL which means it has been tested and it has a Microsoft approval of functionality.
--

Generic email without even reading my message properly explaining that the 7450 driver works. I've asked for this to be escalated. I'll post the response when I get it.

**EDIT**

Response is - I will do my best to escalate the provided information to our development department for future updates

Realtek driver version 7572 is finally working for me. The rear orange/black jacks are actually detected in this driver (was using 7450 before)

I now have everything working great. Not sure about the DTS over optical part though that others are having issues with.
