Asus rampage v extreme edition 10, not posting, showing error "00"

Hi,

My system has been running beautifully until last week, tried to turn on, did not progress POST, got a short burst of fans etc, then shuts off, turns back on, QCODE 00, no beeps, BIOS is able to swap between the two chips.

I'm a full time carer of my disabled wife, we have limited income so would love to resolve cheaply, but I have no other suitable PSU CPU or MB to try swapping things out to find culprit, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Inexpensive place to start: clear CMOS - re-seat CPU and its heat sink - re-seat PSU, GPU and drive connectors - try starting with just one stick of (re-seated) memory.
