Anything i need to do/know before booting up with an Intel 750?

Hi,


Since all of my parts haven't arrived just yet,is there anything i have to do in the BIOS, before putting windows 8.1( Windows 10 will be installed later) on the Intel 750(PCIe) SSD?
I've heard i had to enable UEFI first in the bios.
Connecting the intel 750 should be pretty easy i guess.

But is there anything more i need to know before booting it up for the first time?
Or should it just work out of the box on the motherboard?

If Anyone has one of these, did it just work when first booting the computer?
I will probably have to go into the bios and update it the bios with an USB-Stick aswell?

Use the search function in the forums and you will find your answer, I did not have to change any bios settings myself, you need 1502 or 1601 bios, there are also guides on these forums for UEFI install from a USB drive, I installed from a CD/DVD drive in UEFI mode without any issues
