I’m wondering if it’s worth compiling a list of issues with the monitor after the last firmware update and going to Steve from GN again with it. It’s crazy how poor the service is for such a premium product.
This is the biggest issue for me. We've gone from a good firmware (really the only thing that made me upgrade was the hope that they’d removed the annoying popup about setting the resolution to 1080p or 1332p every time it felt like it) to this one ...
Another thing I’ve noticed is that the aspect control is only available when there’s an image on the screen. So for example if I’m on my desktop in 25” mode, and then I need to work the day after using my mac (which doesn’t detect the monitor in 25”...
Ok panic over on that one. I’d set the monitor to 25” mode (as I now have to do this manually instead of it being automatic on the old firmware) which is apparently incompatible with Mac. Setting it back to 27” mode sorted it.
I’ve spotted another, way more serious issue (for me anyway). Since the update, my monitor no longer detects the input from my Mac via HDMI. It doesn’t matter if I set the inputs to auto detect changes, or if I change them manually, the screen stay...
