I was experiencing sudden freeze and had to reboot a couple of times a day. I am however using linux so no BSOD but still annoying. I seem to have solved my freezing problems by changing in BIOS to only use dGPU and not dynamic gpu mode.
I spoke too fast. Even with v317 there is these rattling noises, but more silent. It actually took me a day or two before I noticed it in total silence. So the problem persists but in a milder form. I hope it is not hw defect due to 316.
Aah!! Booted into windows, updated MyAsus and there it was. Thank you. Rattling noise finally gone. Lucky me I didn't completely remove windows this time.
