I was working and suddenly my mouse doesn't work anymore. Then I discover anything I connect into that slot doesn't get recognized? What could the issue be??

I'm on windows 11I have the monitor connected to my pc with the usb b cableThe installer just does nothing. I had also done this previously months ago and it worked back then. I have tried unplugging other usb to no avail
