Hey, thanks for the response guys i'm gonna try some tweaking later on in about 6 hrs. Gotta study for the end of semester exams first but as soon that's finished i'll be spending the rest of the night in the BIOS. I'll keep you posted

I'll check it out thanks. I have 4 x 4Gb kit btw. I'm only after finding out its not on the compatability list of the mother board 
