Why, every time I start Fan Xpert, do I get a message "Prerequisite Update"". I must Fan Xpert "Check for Update" before it will open. This happens every time I try to open it.
Is there any problem in allowing the CPU, and associated fans and lighting, to "sleep" after the CPU haa been out-of-use for, say an hour, in a similar way to what is regularly done for monitors?
I have still not been able to install the fan control part of AISuite3 but have run Q-fan in the BIOS and appear to be able to satisfactory control fan properties in the FAN EXPERT 4 in Armoury Crate.
I have allowed Performance and Power Saving Utilities, System Information and EZ Update to install but am still not able to find a way to install AI Suite 3.
I am not scared of the BIOS (although I do prefer not to use it if not necessary). The projects I work on need constant control and modification of fan characteristics, hence my preference to being able to work on them without entering the BIOS.
I agree but when I run setup.exe from the folder as you have partly-reproduced from your post, AI Suite 3 V3.03.36 is not shown as an option available.

-Performance and Power Saving Utilities V2.03.42-System Information V2.03.14-EZ Update V3.03.08
but not:
-AI Suite 3 V3.03.36
