i've tried everything, nothing works, i bought a WIFI USB dongle and removed the mediatek wifi card, so far no issues. I think it's the only solution to mediatek wifi card issues, remove it or change it.
i guess there's no solution other than to change wifi card. it's just a hassle, you already spend so much to purchase asus laptop but still the unit has issues. hope future release don't suffer from this kind of things...
