Like in the title, today i pressed the update in AC and the sound optimization options are not working! The sound is flat and games are unplayable, i cannot rely on sound at all. Its infuriating.
I've done boki888's solution and can confirm it works. Thank you brother, at least i have a working sound now until Asus releases a proper update.
btw. if ur installation gets stuck at around 10% with the messege "unzipping the installation package" ...
