Check my message history, it's all there. I've had two Genes that died due to synchronous BCLK OC. I wasn't even playing with extreme voltages. A 103 synched BCLK OC could kill your Gene.

You should be more worried about Asus boards killing themselves (like the Gene) than a typo. 

My second Gene died under the same circumstance. BIOS flashback seems to update the BIOS but it doesn't fix it. PC still refuses to turn on. OCN post

@SAFEDISK I think there's something seriously wrong with the Asus BIOS so please hear me out. I installed BIOS 2005 on my second Gene (brand new) and started to reproduce my 8240 BCLK OC from my first Gene that died. Same thing happened. Entered BCLK...
