Found your issue then. Just gotta leave it unplugged until you need it or change your bios USB settings until it stops slowing down the boot (might be easier to find a needle in a haystack though....)

Thoughts. Ram speed settings & CSM. Common factors besides hardware (USB) that cause longer boot times.

Bios > extreme Tweaker > D-ram voltage, it should have what the voltage is visible beside where you manually set it. Check your ram if unsure.
