Updating this to add new information. Two or three BIOS updates did not change anything but a new firmware for my monitor (M27Q-P or M27Q Pro) which was released on August 14 2023 solved the issue! now the display port on the left and right BOTH work...

I believe you should be looking for some kind of an anti-static tape on the display cable (which is tied to the hinge mechanism)I'm not sure why keyboard mechanism would be affected by opening the lid.the only "disassembled" GX703 I found was this:ht...
