With Bios 331 having locked a majority of us from making any Bios changes on the STRIX G18 (G814JZ), has Asus given any indication that their going to address this issue, or are their intentions to prohibit us from making future changes?
That does appear to be a panel issue, however, if you're up for it, try resetting your bios to factory defaults, then updating your GPU graphics driver. Unless you're on 331, Asus has blocked us from going back to factory defaults for reasons they do...
I just really wish Asus responded regarding this issue. Even if it's to say they've made bios changes that are not reversible for the sake of longevity. Keeping your customers informed, even if its dissapointing news, is better than indifferent sile...
You'll need to reach out to Asus and start the warranty process. You should still be under warranty, do not delay, if you do you'll likely need to pay out of pocket for repairs.
