You can actually save and load custom profiles from the same Tools area in the BIOS if this board's BIOS allows for it. I have done it many times. I just save the profile to the same USB drive that I use for BIOS updating.

Sounds more like a motherboard BIOS battery issue than a BIOS version issue. Replace the CR2032 battery on the motherboard and this should hopefully fix your problem.
