like actually. does this do anything?I see no difference in clock speed at all. What its supposed to do is stay at 5.7ghz until it hit power/current/thermal limits. However even when that is enabled clockspeed still fluctuate.Even in Marvel Rivals cpu ...
I really want to be able to recommend people use your OC profile since it does indeed improve performance.......however.one of the things intel stated in their statement is the 6ghz boost requires the CPU to be below a certain temp threshold (70c). H...
with intel default specs i see that cpu power goes over 270w during cinebench and compiling shaders during gaming. i took this while using cinebench. however while compiling shaders during call of duty i saw that it was pulling close to 300 watts. an...
So I decided to download the newest beta BIOS and do a bunch of testing with the new microcode (asus oc profile default auto bios optimize 253 pl1 and 4095 pl2 and 511.75 core/cache current)tldr: the microcode that stops insane voltage requests seems...
basically title, does the new microcode stay active with power limits disabled? obviously we have k chips to overclock and tinker but we dont want them to blow up and die within a year.... has anyone done any testing?
relax, they need to make sure the bios is stable and do some testing. they have been working on 1901 since before 0x12f was announced anyway. They probably are going to skip that bios number but the next update should be performance/security enhance...
The issue now though is that intel (before) had basically said in multiple interviews and videos for 13th gen that you should lift power limits to what your cooling is capable of. They wanted you to get more performance if you had the cooling. Basica...
memory context restore is literally only for AMD. How is that going to help on an intel system? Also to OP. Have you tried upgrading back to 2802? is it possible the bios update got corrupted somehow?
It's normal for stuff like this to happen when newer products are out. Also, z890 took a lot of microcode updates and bios updates to fix bugs/performance. While we wont get updates for months at a time even 12th gen still gets support.
