Thats a good idea - the EEE doesnt work well at all - i suggest turning off the following:Advanced EEE, Energy-Efficient Etherent, Gigabit Lite and Green ethernet.These are all power saving settings that aren't great anyway.Glad it helped!

Actually i just tested and i do have packet loss and insane pings when i use 5GB mode - i set the port on the router to 1 GB and it runs well - something definetly off with this NIC
I openned a case too - my issue is slightly different, i dont experience packet loss, instead im unable to get my full internet speed, i have 5GB fiber and the max download speed i can get out of the mobo NIC is 1.4GB.I tested the internet connection...
