well that worked. EXPO 1 works with one pair in those slots.. thats sort of a bummer but glad it works right.. thanks!would you mind summarizing the main points so i can mark it as a useful accepted solution?

i pulled the second kit so just dimm slot A 1 and 2 were in use and tested EXPO 1 and 2, and the same result

i had time to do a couple of tests tonight.. i tried the Expo 2 and also leaving anything to auto, but setting the freq to 6000.. both of which had the same result.. hung for about 10m and then restarted and asked me to reset.
