I just wanted to share an update, for all those interested. The motherboard was indeed the culprit, after swapping out to a replacement board all issues disappeared, thanks again to all those who offered suggestions.

Cheers Silent_Scone, as I said, I look forward to swap out the CPU on order to fix it and or rule it out and then start with the motherboard RMA. I will update with my findings
