If you look at the comments for the Slappa one, A lot of people with older ROG laptops (g73,74) say it fits fine. Those models are virtually the same in dimensions and should be an appropriate proxy. I plan on buying one for myself.

Ya i am experiencing the same thing. probably part of the chassis. A recommendation is to go into sound settings and lower the top of the "front". this will reduce the max volume output, but will reduce the vibration at the max volume.
