So I had a system with Z270 maximus IX extreme, i7 7700k. I want to upgrade my system, and I am wondering if I can continue to use the extreme waterblock on other boards? Any body have any information on that?
After I did some extensive research, the red LEDs are blinking because the voltage drop is over a certain amount (personnel guess would around 10-15%), this can due to "Irregular" voltage drop of your PSU, custom cables, cables did not plug in proper...

The clock will be identical with both BIOs, but with P-mode the fan curve is more aggressive, hence the components are cooler, with Q-mode it will be vice versa, but the temperature will still be well below components spec
