As the title suggests, the button doesn't actually apply safe boot settings when pressed, it just reboots or boots the system with the already applied settings leaving the only option to press clear cmos button and load from saved profile.
I see the Hero getting bios updates faster than the Extreme, when is the Extreme going to get the same ones? We are now two versions behind and one of them is an AGESA update.
This was an issue even back when the bios was pushing vsoc over 1.3v with EXPO 6000 ram. But I will test what you suggested anyway. But I do not think they are the same issue but rather a different trigger for it.
