I have studied this exact issue and discovered the best scenario as follows:SATA6G_1 & SATA6G_2 ( the two SATA ports right in the center of the SATA array) should be used for your RAID 0SATA3G_1 & SATA3G_2 & SATA3G_3 & SATA3G_4 (the top 4 SATA Ports)...

the Revo POST no longer appears after the RAID build and a reboot.If I remove the RAID configuration it reappears.Option of the Revo is not in the BIOS boot order either... Super odd stuff there.
