Just thought i'd add my experience as couldn't find any info before i upgraded and kingston doesn't list compatibility. This memory works fine for me and runs at 2666 cl 15 on my GL703GS-E5011T.

if no repaste id suggest a voltage / frequency at a a flat 1590ish from 800 on pascal on these laptops dont seem to like much more. yes lower frequency but better performance ? drop a few points at start to give it a escape.
a blank hdd is ideal not sure size matters much, at a guess an empty 500gb would work best lol; as for nvidia bias no not so much for once the 580 i think prefers added power/cooling, my 1070 shows as a notebook one so looks better on user bench mar...
