My monitor arrived at their RMA location on the 5th and I hope they find out what the issues are. My replacement so far haven't had any black screen, but I also haven't been playing Doom Eternal and Ninja Gaiden 2 a lot where the black screen happens...
I got my replacement monitor and shipped my old one back. It should arrive at Asus in a week. Hopefully they can test that and reproduce it to find us a solution. The white flashing issue that rhms posted is exactly what I experience.
