If you decide to purchase the routers, you can test yourself. You should have no problems using your current router as a Mesh node. Of course, I am assuming that BE88U is qualified for being a node.

Since I don't know for sure, it would make sense you would not be able to add a SSID to the Mesh nodes. It would make sense to use the BT8s for primary and Mesh then use your current one for Mesh.
