I have a GTX 970m in this thing and other scores are around 65995 with GTX 770's. I know GPU isn't the only thing here, but I have a i7-4710HQ, SSD, 24GB of RAM, I wonder what's wrong with my system?

For these laptops, Asus totally disables the Intel graphics. No workaround... No optimus.. No BIOS, this is just the way it's going to be. Doesn't get great battery life anyways, might as well have the best graphics run for everything.
Sheesh... I have this laptop and the same issue. A bit of $ for a laptop with this issue. I wouldn't mind so much, but the left side USB's are in the back, where I'd prefer to plug my WD External into.
