Thanks for the thorough guide. I have a G750JS; I think the only difference is the gfx card (870m). My problem is that I can only boot in safe mode, otherwise it hangs. Any ideas? Also, the WiFi only sees 2.4ghz access points, not 5ghz. Unfortunate...
