Does forcing a resolution in the nvidia panel harm the video cards at all? I managed to force 2560x1600 through the nvidia panel it ran fine. Just wanting to know effects of doing this

Hi all so have done a bit of Intel burn testing my new 3770k. I believe it is a good tester. So have tested with IBT and it gives hotter temps than prime 95 blend tests anyway. So just thinking I know the Ivy Bridge is hotter as a platform am finding...

so i bit the bullet and went with the i7 3770k and corsair h80, went the h80 because couldn't fit a h100 in my case, but currently at stock clocks i am seeing 29 deg C at idle and max of 64 deg c with intel burn test at 100% load, this is with h80 on...
