fixing this in windows was the solution. Putting the setting to wait for operating system to 0 got rid of the screen. Additionally, for some reason I am not able to view/change the boot order in the BIOS. It's greyed out...
hmmm. I have Asus suite 2 USB 3.0 from the motherboard support page and when I go to install the ASUS 2 usb 3.0 update, it asks for the files to update but the option is blank. any ideas?
