I have this motherboard Asus ROG Strix x870e , I'm slowly putting together my system . I'm not sure when I will finish but want to know Do I just load the last BIOS that's available for my mother board ??

I just bought my New Strix x870e motherboard coming from a Sabertooth 990FX motherboard . Looking at the manual that the PCIEX 16 {G5} , M.2 _2 and M.2_3 share lanes to the CPU Chip . I'm not going to use a GEN 5 CPU as of yet , I have a AMD 5 8600g...

What would be some good settings in the BIOS {since I can't use Default to what I been reading} to keep my cpu stable ,AM5 8600g with Kingston Furry 6400mt, ROG Strix x870e motherboard .

May I ask what are you cooling AM9 9900x chip , it will be sometime when I up date my chip and probably look at a water cool . I'm just going to use a stock cooler for now .

Yes I fig when I get all my parts and put together I will have to update the BIOS and maybe Firmware . I have been looking at YouTube on how to update the BIOS .
