Interesting.. I wonder if Asus forgot to include the option for this board or if its not possible for some reason. Do you only have issues after using HWinfo or do you have other software running like L-connect, nzxt cam, or armory crate?

Are you sure reboot workaround isn't in your bios? The b650e-e has the option on 3057 bios under tweakers paradise. Could you double check and confirm after?
