after some tuning I got x60 allcore and per-core overclock up to x62 running with a slight undervolt by -0.025. LLC 6 and auto voltage. Way better than the 1602 AI overclock aswell. But i don't know why the 1704 AI overclock wants to underclock it so...
Before the update the chip ran amazingly. After the update the BIOS wanted to tell me that I got a 14900k. No crashes before and after, but I lost performance.
Because it is now supposed to run like a normal 14900K and not as a KS should. And also because the clock headroom is unused when the CPU hits 50c in gaming, when before it was calmly sitting at x59 and sometimes x60. Seems like i have to spend a day...
And on my BIOS it heavily underclocks my 14900KS when using AI Overclock compared to the 1602 version… Telling the CPU to downclock on all cores at just 50c…
